Sponsored by the Homosassa Civic Club, this event is held in November each year in the historic district of Old Homosassa. Home to many commercial fishermen with its spring-fed river, Homosassa has been a nationally known sport fishing and recreation area since the mid-1800s. This 36th annual festival will draw crowds from Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Ocala, Gainesville and the surrounding communities as well as out-of-state visitors. The art show is a judged and non-judged show with exhibitors from all over the country. The food court is a well-known attraction of the festival. Vendors from the community provide their seafood and other specialties. Whether its fried catfish, gator tail or conch fritters you like, you will find it all and more in the food court.
